My name is Bridget, I am the proud mother of 6 beautiful, intelligent and caring children. I grew up in Cleveland, Ohio with a single mother. As a child I watched as see was living in shelters and struggling with drug addiction. This is a lesson I would never forget. Growing up in a single parent household meant my mother had less time and less ability to parent my siblings and I, strictly and closely. My father was never home and always in Alabama. This odd form of freedom forced me to become independent and strong. As early as grade school I had become a leader with nurturing character. Taking the opportunity to make life better for someone else is what I do and what I have done for most of my life.
